Perspectives of iFuse Patients

These iFuse patients share their stories of how sacroiliac joint pain affected their lives and their experience with the iFuse Implant System. Most of these patients experienced sacroiliac joint disruptions and/or degenerative sacroiliitis for years before seeking out or discovering MIS SI joint fusion. Some of the patients here live in the United States so their experience may differ due to varying country regulations.

SI Joint Degeneration

In 2014, I had a lumbar fusion surgery to address some of my slipped discs, which involved going in through my stomach. The surgery didn’t work and immediately afterwards I felt “broken.” It was like I had another layer of surgical pain added to the pain of the injury.
